How/where to Vote in Ward 7

1. Make sure you're on the voters' list

The quickest way to save time is to confirm you're registered before voting day. Check and update your details or add yourself

New homes across Ward 7 mean many residents are missing from the list. If you've recently moved to Ward 7 or just turned 18 Check, update, or add your information to the voters list.

It only takes a minute to check, and it means no delays when you go to vote.

2. Know where and when to vote

On voting day (Monday, October 26), you can vote at any of the following voting locations in Ward 7, between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

• - Sixteen Mile Sports Complex - 3070 Neyagawa Boulevard
• - Oodenawi Public School - 385 Sixteen Mile Drive
• - St. Gregory the Great Catholic Elementary School - 138 Sixteen Mile Drive
• - Dr. David R. Williams Public School - 3199 Post Road
• - St. Cecilia Catholic Elementary School - 420 Threshing Mill Blvd

Advance voting. runs October 7–10 and October 13–18. Advance voting is a convenient option if you can't make it on election day. You can vote at the following locations during the advance voting period between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The voting locations are set by the Town. You can find the confirmed lists and your wards' assigned locations at the Town's official election site: oakville.ca.

3. Bring acceptable ID

You'll need to show identification that includes your name and Oakville address. Commonly accepted documents include a driver's licence, an Ontario photo card, a utility bill, a bank or credit card statement, a lease or rental agreement, or other government-issued documents showing your name and qualifying address.

4. Who can vote?

You can vote in the Town of Oakville municipal election if, on voting day, you are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old, and a resident of Oakville (or an owner or tenant of property in Oakville, or the spouse of such an owner or tenant), and not otherwise prohibited from voting.
